mi dispiace avere impiegato tanto tempo per risponderle e per ringraziarla, ma ho dovuto aspettare di riuscire ad ascoltare il suo CD su nastro, dato che non possiedo un lettore CD.

Sono molto felice che lei abbia tanto apprezzato il lavoro di mio padre, specialmente "Il Signore degli Anelli" e che abbia sentito una tale grande influenza entrare a far parte della sua vita e del suo lavoro.
Ho ascoltato la sua musica ispirata alla Terra di Mezzo ed ho particolarmente apprezzato la parte riguardante gli Hobbit.
Penso che la canzone “Filastrocca Hobbit” sia affascinante e molto ben fatta. Mi è anche piaciuta la tristezza espressa ne “La Via prosegue senza fine”. Allo stesso modo per il brano “Accanto al fuoco”: credo che l’ambientazione sia stata ben interpretata grazie alla sua aria di triste riflessione.
Ho altresì largamente apprezzato l’eccellente enunciazione delle parole in tutto il lavoro.
Le auguro tutto il meglio per la sua vita musicale e per il suo lavoro e la ringrazio nuovamente per avermi inviato le sue canzoni.

I am sorry it has taken this time to write and thank you but I had to wait until I could listen to your cd on tape since I do not have a cd player.

I'm very glad that you have enjoyed my father's work so much, especially "The Lord of the Rings" and that it has been a such important influence in your life and work.
I have listened to your music and singing inspired by the Middle-earth and I particularly enjoyed those concerned with the Hobbits.
I think that the song "Filastrocca Hobbit" is charming and very well done. I also liked the sadness expressed in "The Road Goes Ever On". Similarly in "Accanto al fuoco": I think the mood was well judged with its air of sad reflection.
I also greatly appreciated the excellent enunciation of the words throughout.
I wish you well in your musical life and in your work and thank you again for sending me your songs."
